On Sunday March 11 Filmmaker Holly Sugrue and I hit New York’s Central Park for what we called a “7D Adventure.” My goal was to spend the day shooting timelapse video. Here’s the result.
Just a test using a GoPro Hero2 camera to record the walk from the Time Warner Building on Columbus Circle to Grand Central Station.
A few shots while in London just to prove that I was there.
Radio City Music Hall, Rockefeller Center, Cartier; their Holiday displays are the first things that come to mind when thinking of Christmas in New York, but did you ever wonder who’s responsible for creating those fantastic designs?
Dublin to Cork to Mayo to Galway to Dublin to Belfast to Dublin. Powered by Guinness.
Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture. Took a stroll, took the dog & took some pictures.
I spent Presidents Day weekend skiing in Deer Valley, Utah. It’s a beautiful area, arguably the nicest place I have ever skied. As an added bonus we stayed at the brand new Montage Resort. Between the skiing and the accommodations, it’s no wonder why Deer Valley Resort was rated the #1 ski resort in North America an unprecedented four years in a row by the readers of SKI Magazine.
Spring 2010 Mercedes-Benz fashion week in New York kept us busy at Dravot Carnehan Studios. I shot behind the scenes as well as show photos and video at a number of designer events.
A month ago my company, Dravot Carnehan Studios, was approached by my friend Steve to see if I would be interested in creating an online promotional video for his restaurant client. Steve and I came up with a plan that would allow us to create informative, visually pleasing video’s that could be produced within the confines of many of his clients presently tight marketing budgets.
Produced for the Ossining Chamber of Commerce to showcase the 2009 Ossining Village Fair, “Ossining” stars the diverse community of the great town I call home.
For years The Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester operated the Yorktown Teen Center. It provided a vital service to the community, giving the working parents of Yorktown a safe place to send their kids for the few hours between school dismissal and the time the parents got home from work. In early 2009, due to extreme budget cuts, The Boys & Girls Club was forced to close their satellite units in Yorktown and Tarrytown. Fortunately for Yorktown, Helena Rodriguez recognized that losing the Teen Center was not an option. Although her children are both of college age, and the closing of the Teen Center had no impact on her personally, Helena took on the challenge of keeping the Yorktown Teen Center open. It became her “mission”.
Established in 1998, the Cabrini Mission Foundation exists to respond to society’s needs by supporting programs and institutions of healing, teaching, and caring.
