Peter Barossi

“Pay attention. Learn your trade.” That was the edict my father drove into my head at an early age. It started in the summers during high school, when I worked as a laborer for his contracting firm. It continued when I decided to pursue media production as a career. “You can learn something from anyone. Pay attention. Learn your trade.”

My trade, and my passion, is storytelling. There are no common people. No ordinary lives. Everyone has an interesting story to tell, you just need to know how to listen, what questions to ask and, in my case, where to point the camera.

I have been fortunate to work with some of the top film, television and commercial production companies in the business. I have developed, produced and shot film, digital and video projects for feature, documentary and reality genres. My experience in the field of interactive media has prepared me for the sudden surge in demand for creative online video and social media. I have produced on location throughout the US as well as in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, Germany, Thailand, Ecuador, Panama, and Puerto Rico.

I currently act as Executive Producer/Director and Photographer at Dravot Carnehan Studios, a full-service media production house located in Westchester County, New York.
